ACADEMICS AT ECA

 OUR ACADEMIC PHILOSOPHY

Emmanuel emphasizes Biblical integration in all areas of academic study and social activities. We seek to create an environment where your child will be firmly grounded in Biblical truth and encouraged to grow spiritually every day. In addition, all Emmanuel students attend Chapel once a week. Chapel time is split into three levels so that each student can participate in a time of age-appropriate worship and speaking. The chapel ages are split into transitional kindergarten through third grade, fourth through sixth grade, and seventh through twelfth grade.

EMMANUEL CHRISTIAN
AEROSPACE INSTITUTE

Unmanned Aviation STEM courses

We are proud to be the ONLY school in Ohio that offers unmanned aviation stem courses for dual enrollment college credit through Embry‐Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU).

Area high school students enrolled in the program can now earn credit towards both high school and college graduation requirements as well as industry certifications in the fast-growing Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) industry. In partnership with the Ohio Department of Education, the Turner Foundation, and Kettering Health Network, this drone program is open to all local students who are interested in participating.

The four-year program seeks to equip students for careers in technology and aviation. Courses focus on the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) as well as providing industry certifications for immediate workforce development in the UAS field. The coursework will expose students to UAS navigation planning, data entry, UAS safety/security, UAS aerial photography, principles of management, and more.

Students who choose to enroll can earn up to 18 college credit hours for successfully completing all four years. The program will also prepare students to test for a variety of credentials including their Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 107 UAS pilot certification after completing the program.

Our program instructor, Col Bernie "Bunyan" Willis, is a Kentucky Colonel and an Air Force Reserve member with 27 years of aviation experience as a Command Pilot. He is a flight and academic instructor with 2,500 flying hours in the F-16 and 750 hours in the unmanned MQ-1 Predator.
