CALENDAR
Chapel & Small Groups
Chapel, worship, and small groups are integral to the culture of Emmanuel Christian Academy. Every Wednesday, students, faculty, and staff gather for chapel services. Chapel time is split into three levels so that each student can participate in a time of age-appropriate worship and speaking - transitional kindergarten through third grade, fourth through sixth grade, and seventh through twelfth grade.
Junior high and high school chapel (7-12) is led by a student worship team, a student chaplain and several dedicated staff and faculty. The chapel schedule features guest speakers, worship chapels and special occasion chapels. Furthermore, small groups are integrated into the chapel experience. Peer engagement on spiritual concepts and real-world struggles is critical. The girls and guys groups are led by juniors and seniors along with a faculty monitor.
Parents and families are welcome to attend weekly chapels to participate in the worship experience. Below are the typical schedules for Chapel and Assembly.
Grades TK-3 | 8:50-9:20AM
Grades 4-6 | 8:15-8:45AM
Grades 7-12 | 9:32-10-17AM
COMMUNITY SERVICE
At Emmanuel Christian Academy we value community and servant leadership. All students are encouraged to pursue volunteer opportunities to serve their school, neighborhood, and local community.
For Emmanuel upperclassmen, community service is a requirement to receive a passing grade in the required Bible course freshman through senior year. Twenty (20) hours of community service are required each year which breaks down to ten (10) hours of community service each semester.
