Dress Code Clarification

Dear Parents,

This past year we surveyed parents, students and staff and made several changes to our dress code to make it easier for parents and students to navigate. We have also made it a procedure to provide students with a warning so that they have an opportunity to make adjustments. In order to continue to help, I've highlighted our expectations, and also wanted to highlight several of the areas that we are giving warnings on the most.

EXPECTATIONS/POLICY

Tops: Students may wear ECA crested polos, ECA t-shirts, ECA long sleeves and ECA sweatshirts

Pants:

  • Students may wear blue, black, tan or brown pants. They may be tapered, skinny fit, baggy or other "styles" but must  be worn at the waist.

    • These pants are typically referred to as "khaki type pants"

    • Cargo pants are permitted

    • They may not be "jean" or "denim type"

    • They may not be leggings, joggers, jeggings, etc.

Shorts:

  • Students may wear UNIFORM STYLE shorts (no more than 2 inches above the knee, with no zippers and no extra pockets)

  • Blue, black, tan or brown colored shorts are permitted in UNIFORM STYLE

Designated Wednesdays: (designated on the calendar/The Week Ahead)

  • Students may wear jeans ($1) or ECA Joggers purchased from ECA this year ($2)
