In John 13:35 Jesus says, “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” One way we show love to one another that is easy to overlook is by giving each another our full attention.

Part 1 – DIGITAL EMPATHY: 11 minutes

  • Discussion or Prayer and Sharing: 5 minutes

    • Do you think you have a habit of being thankful? How much do you think you complain versus express gratitude for something?

    • When it comes to social media, is there something you are considering changing? If so, what is it?

Part 2 – THE LOST ARTS: 17 minutes

  • Discussion – 5 minutes

    • Have you ever experienced someone using a smartphone to avoid talking to you? Have you ever done that to someone else?

    • What is a specific example of how you could choose a real-life interaction over spending time on social media?

    • What are some examples of how Jesus took time to really listen to people well and be with them in the moment?

Part 3 –Sharing and Prayer: 17 minutes

  • Share prayer requests and pray for each other.
