While God isn’t Google or a vending machine, He does want us to recognize Him as our ultimate provider for all of our needs. Prayer is a communal activity through which we intercede for others and battle the spiritual forces of evil. By taking up the shield of faith, we can trust God no matter how we feel, remembering that He is our King and Father.
What is the difference between seeing God as our provider and seeing God in the same way we see Google?
Why does it matter whether or not we see prayer as a communal activity?
