1 Peter 5:8-9, “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.”

Part 2 – Discussion: (15 minutes)
According to Daniel 10, sometimes the answers to our prayers can be temporarily intercepted because of spiritual warfare. Just like God delegated authority to human beings, he also delegated spiritual authority to spiritual beings. Many of them have been abusing their authority. God leads us by affirming our identity. The enemy “leads” us by accusing us and attacking our identity.
We covered a lot in this section. What part of it stood out to you the most? Why did that stand out?
How does the story from Daniel 10 challenge the way you think about prayer
Have you experienced anything you think could have been the enemy’s accusation? (Leader: if you have a story, share it first; others may not feel comfortable unless you do.)
Part 5 – Comment and Prayer: (10 minutes)
I gave you some extra time, spend it praying for each other.
Delegate someone in your group to send an email to Pastor John with a 2-3 sentence comment on today’s content (jessig@ecaoh.com).
Designate a prayer journal keeper so that you can pray for each other between meetings.
