1 Peter 5:8-9, “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.”

Part 2 – Discussion: (10 minutes)
We are body, soul, and spirit. We face the world, the flesh, and the devil. Many deliverance ministers recognize several kinds of evil spirits, mentioned here and there in the Bible, who are specialists in particular kinds of suffering. Jesus ultimately won the war for Christians. We can win more spiritual battles by confessing our sin and believing truth from God’s word.
We tried to be very careful not to make it sound like all issues with anxiety or depression were always spiritual, but that some could be. Why is this balance so important?
One point from the video was that the enemy knows if he can divide us, it will be easier to conquer us. Do you agree with this idea? Why or why not? How can we work towards more unity?
How does thinking of Christianity as a spiritual war change the way you think about your faith and reality?
